Certificate of Professional Studies:

This is a certificate of competence granted to candidates who demonstrate ability in a given vocation or field of study. Evidence of studies of between 6 to 12 months is required.

Associate Degree / Diploma:

Evidence of studies lasting for between 12 to 24 months depending on the background of the student.

Under Graduate:

The undergraduate course normally takes from 24 to 48 months to complete. You will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A / BBA / B.Com), Sciences (B.Sc), Engineering (B.Eng) or Education (B.Ed), depending on your choice of subject. The basic building block of the degree is a module. Each module is usually worth 30 or 15 credits and an honours degree is awarded to students who achieve 360 credits. You will be studying some core modules, which are compulsory parts of the course, and some optional modules, which you can choose according to your own interests.

Post Graduate:

The programme is for duration of 15 to 36 months depending on the background of the student. Admission is open to persons holding a bachelor’s degree or a professional qualification acceptable to the Admissions Committee. The master’s study is intense and ends with a thesis. You will be required to have:

  • bachelor’s degree in any subject discipline (or equivalent)
  • minimum of two years’ work experience in a management context
  • detailed personal statement, including why you are applying and any relevant skills, experience or achievements that make you suitable for the course

Doctor of Philosophy:

The programme is for a duration of 24 to 36 months. Candidates who hold a master’s degree and who wish to extend the research carried out for the master’s programme may take less time to complete the degree. At all times, the end product of the research must result in original contribution to knowledge.

  • Applicants are normally required to hold a master’s degree.
  • Applicants are required to submit a research proposal.
  • Payment of application fee and good faith deposit.

Doctor of Letters:

Holding the degree of Doctor of Letters signifies that the recipient is a highly lettered person, i.e., the person is a highly knowledgeable authority in that discipline. This is a post-doctoral degree in the humanities within the university as scheme of work. Only persons who hold an earned doctorate or fellowship of a reputable professional body, who also have published works to their credit can apply to be considered. The works submitted are assessed by peers at a panel. Candidates are further required to make a prescribed submission on the subject of management consulting to fulfill the degree validation and accreditation requirements for the certification.

Doctor of Science:

The Doctor of Science degree is the equivalent of the Doctor of Letters in the sciences. Similar conditions apply.
